Detailed infrastructure Design:
Upon approval of the conceptual infrastructure engineering design, work shall be under taken to prepare detailed design, drawings and technical specifications for components within the proposed development which include
- Site grading
- Embankment
- Roads
- Storm Drainage System
- Water Treatment & Distribution System
- Solid Waste Disposal
- Sewerage Treatment Plan
- Power and Telecommunication Networks
- Rain water harvesting system
- Security system
- Landscape irrigation system
- Solid waster disposal system
Localization of the detailed design to meet the relevant standards and to submit plans to local authorities for approval (if required)
Make necessary changes to the original design during the course of the construction works due to site conditions, technical requirements or requirements imposed by the Local Authority. Advice Client on any technical and costing matter related to the works.
The following scope of services is also included in Infrastructure Engineering Plans in coordinating with appointed consultants
- Soil investigation and topographical / hydrographical survey of the site
- Environmental impact assessment studies;
- Negotiation with any authorities in securing the usage of public utilities and other infrastructure services such as water, power supply, drainage channels, etc;
- Power Plans or any Specialized process plants
- To conduct visual site inspection for the purpose of investigating and gathering of pertinent data for the design and eventual construction (including phasing) of the buildings and various facilities.
- To identify Client’s requirements of the proposed development
- To attend meetings/presentations for the coordination of all disciplines of design and Client’s input
- To visit the site, conduct initial appraisal and give advice to the Client on the suitable type of development.
- To take the Client’s instruction to ascertain the requirements and constraints of the work.
- To coordinate site studies and investigations as deemed necessary in pursuance of the Client’s requirements.
- To conceptualize site planning including landscaping design in coordination with appointed Architect & Landscape designer.
- To get preliminary sketch designs for the design brief and presentation to the Client
- To provide architectural design concept for the project conceptualization of the design involving description of the work, design criteria and the like for the comment and agreement of the Client.
- To develop design report in conformity with the design brief and concept for client’s approval
- To finalize conceptual design to enable the preparation of complete working drawings
- To identify all relevant Standards, Code of Practices and Local Government regulations including utility permits, permission licenses, and other governmental approvals which will be required to complete the design.
- To develop schematic design as appropriate to enable all designers to commence the details design.
- To prepare final design drawings and details in compliance with all local building codes, regulations and construction guidelines.
- To prepare final architectural drawings for submission to relevant authorities for approval
- To develop site planning and landscape details.
- To provide detailed design on architectural layout and construction details, including wall partition, roofing system, floor finishes, wall finishes and color schemes in accordance with Client’s approved conceptual design
- To coordinate with the Client and Contractor to resolve design related problems encountered during the construction stages.
- To check that the building works are completed in accordance with the approved design
- To conduct visual site inspection for the purpose of investigating and gathering of pertinent data for the design and eventual construction (including phasing) of the buildings.
- To formulate requirements for the geotechnical investigation required to be conducted on the Site and prepare necessary specifications, plans, etc., for the same.
- To identify Client’s structural requirements of the proposed development.
- To attend meetings/presentations for the coordination of all disciplines of design and Client’s input
- To analyze, advise and resolve problems encountered in the site investigation and comment on the site investigation data and reports.
- To recommend on foundation and structural design requirements and prepare foundation and structural scheme, where necessary.
- To provide design concept for the structural system and civil engineering works including drainage system, building levels and road/driveway elevation, where appropriate.
- To prepare preliminary structural design statement and plans for inclusion in the schematic design submittal for obtaining approval from all relevant authorities, where necessary.
- To finalize conceptual design to enable the preparation of complete working drawings
- To identify all relevant Standards, Code of Practices and Local Government regulations including utility permits, permission licenses, and other governmental approvals which will be required to complete the design.
- To prepare final design drawings and details in compliance with all locals building codes, regulations and construction guidelines.
- To update and finalize the structural scheming according to requirements of the client, local authorities and Architect.
- To prepare all relevant detailed design drawings for obtaining approval from all relevant Authorities.
- To prepare technical specification and drawings.
- To carry out detailed design and prepare construction drawings including reinforcement details for all structural works.
- To co-ordinate with the Client and Contractor to resolve all design related problems encountered during the design and construction stages.
- To check that the building works are completed in accordance with the approved design.
